For reasons unknown, the computer won't let me post any more pictures right now. I'll try again on Sunday, as I must prepare for MY FIRTS BIG WEEKEND WITHOUT ETHAN!!! Nana is here, PawPaw is on his way, and we are going to KC.

Updates soon. :) E

Chicken Torture. I was so sure the chicken suit was going to fit. The pants are OK, but you really don't get the effect of the fluffy chicken suit if you can't velcro it shut. Dang.

Loves his new golf club from Eli. Swings it, bangs it, crawls with it, licks it, loves it.

Doggy guards. The only time they are calm in the house is when Ethan is on the floor with them. They are very protective... very careful... hover...they stay very close to the ground... heads down. What does that mean, Ceasar?? Are they sizing him up to bite his head off or do they respect him as junior pack leader?

Milestone! He can pull up to stand. He figured it out in the bathtub.

It's our stay-at-home Friday. We watched Sesame Street, shared some oats, read some books. Fun fun.

Talk soon! E

Hello. We're still spotted. Creepy weird spots... all the way up to the lower eye lashes now. He doesn't seem to mind. He did suffer the 4-toothed bite of another child at daycare yesterday. THEY WON'T TELL ME WHO BIT MY BABY! Some HIPPA violation. Hmmmm. I told the director, in jest, kinda... that the culprit would out himself... he'll turn up with spots. THere are only 4 boys in there anyway. His teachers say that Ethan has a new toy hoarding technique where he gathers all his favorites (xylaphone, piano, various noise makers) and then positions himself towards a corner in a straddle so that the other kids can't get his stuff. Gifted and Talented, though probobly bite provoking...
All this motor learning is wrecking havoc on his sleep. We find him sitting up in bed, screaming, with his eyes closed. Or rocking on his hands and knees, asleep. Or sitting up beating his slats with pacifiers. He's still asleep now, as he wasn't at 12 and 2 and 4 and 5.
It is Thursday, and it should be my Friday, but since I didn't work on Monday due to THE SPOTS, I need to work another day. BBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I know I won't gather much sympathy from my readers. We got a new backpack... its cool.
Happy Thursday. E

Forgive me....

Forgive me (its me, Erin) for writing what I presume Ethan would want to say about these pictures. I know its annoying. Henceforth, when I refer to "me" or "I", I am doing so in the voice of our blogee. It will only happen this time. Sorry sorry sorry.

Momo got me these sporty overalls. FYI: The Cords of Roy absorb lots more spit than your average bib.

A fun trip to Eureka... just before I came down with some sort of rash and a hella fever. I still resemble a spotted trout.<a href="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/6162/2085/1600/Ethan%20September%20057.jpg">

I'm CLEAN!... Mom's not.

Hey everyone. We're getting busier around here now that we have an official crawler!! There's no more sitting still. Computer time is limited. We've been to Little Rock and to Shreveport, and we brought Momo back with us. She showed up with a Leap Frog table that has put all the other living room toys TO SHAME. Ethan can crawl up to it, pull up tall on his knees, get one foot underneath in prep to stand, then scream for someone to help him up. Its working for him. He ends up standing every time.
We did turn the car seat around a wee bit early, BUT... we made the 6 hour Shreveport trip with less than 5 minutes of crying. WORTH IT.
All is well with us. He's more and more fun everyday.
:) E
